Workout 1

Thursday December 29th 30 minute run. 1 set of pull-ups, bicep chin-ups, and hanging ab crunches to failure. Finished off with 1 set of push-ups to failure...about 20. Took a few days off to rest up.  This helped a great deal for the run.  I felt great and did not stop at all.  However, the strength part suffered.  It took much less to hit fatigue during the bodyweight portion.  All in all though was a great workout.  I felt much better today than the previous workout.

  1. Good idea to track your workouts like this. I am 64 (!), working with a personal trainer, and getting to the gym 3-4 times a week...unless it's Christmas...then, unfortunately, I ate way too much and sat watching way too many movies. I will get back at it next week though. My goal is gain muscle, lose fat, lose 5-8 lbs.

GMCLA's Hooray for Holidays - Behind the Scenes - December 16 & 17 at th...

I saw the Gay Men's Chorus LA in concert on Saturday. What an awesome performance.  This show had me worry all night though. There was a lack of knowledge in regards to seating chart. I received blank looks when I asked where my seat was. Then, when I got to the row I was supposed to be in the seat numbers were off. My ticket said seat 103 and yet I sat in seat 10, I think. Overall, the concert was fabulous. I love how they chose TV and movie themed Christmas tunes. Snow Meiser and Heat Meiser were a blast. Thank you for a wonderful performance. I had a fabulous time and look forward to next year.
