Fossil fuels such as oil are often "non-recyclable" and not considered to be biodegradable even though they are organic matter. Oil, an organic compound comes from the ground. It is then processed into various forms such as a plastic glass or a plastic bag.
The question I have is why then are these plastics considered non-biodegradable?
